The countdown to Melbourne RFC B**r Festival is officially on… and if you’re coming, now is the time to get your tickets!

And what a weekend we’ve got planned…

🔰 FOUR games of rugby
🏉 Friday night - Men’s 2XV under the lights to get us started

Then Saturday…
🚪 Gates open 11am
🏉 Ladies 1XV kick us off at 12pm
🏉 followed by Men’s 1XV before...
🏉 Academy under the lights

And that’s just the sport. 👀

We’ve got the best entertainment lineup the B**r Festival has seen, with live bands and more to be announced soon 🎸🎤

Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility, but the club needs a designated Safeguarding Secretary to help ensure we remain compliant with RFU requirements at every level.

The role includes:

Being the club’s point of contact for any safeguarding concerns
Helping ensure the club meets RFU safeguarding requirements
Keeping on top of DBS checks and making sure volunteers have a valid DBS where required
Supporting the club with safeguarding processes and good practice

A huge thank you to Lindsey Nicholls for her time and commitment in the role. We’re really grateful that Lindsey has offered to provide a full handover to whoever takes on the position.
