🏀 Developing the next generation of basketball coaches!

Great to see Express Coaching’s Dan Richards delivering the Level 1 Coach Award in conjunction with Mansfield Giants and their satellite club at Dukeries.

The course saw Mansfield Giants parents and players getting involved, developing their knowledge and taking their first steps into basketball coaching.

A great opportunity for Dan to share his experience and expertise, while helping to build the next cohort of coaches who can support and grow the game locally. 👏🏀

🎉 Week 2 has started with a bang at Express Coaching Services HAF! 🎉

Our ExpressIt! arts and crafts programme has been packed with creativity and imagination!

🌈 Monday kicked off with a colourful Tie-Dye session, where children experimented with colour mixing to create their own unique hats and hair bobbles.

🌊 Tuesday was all about our Under the Sea theme, with water and sand play, magical sea creature creations using gel, shell decorating, and plenty of ocean-inspired fun.

🎨 Today we’re getting creative with Chalk Art, transforming outdoor spaces into colourful masterpieces.

🍓 Our healthy lifestyle sessions have also been a huge hit! Children have been creating their own smoothies, safely chopping their favourite fruits, tasting new ones, and learning where different fruits come from and how they’re grown.

🍕 Every food activity is hands-on, giving children the opportunity to make their own creations. From choosing healthy ingredients to making homemade pizzas today and designing their own sandwiches tomorrow, everyone gets involved.

🏸 The fun doesn’t stop there! This week we’ve enjoyed:
⭐ Net Sportz, including pickleball and badminton
⚽ 1v1 Subbuteo Inflatable Football Pitch

☀️ Day 1 of the ECS Holiday Activity & Food Club – Summer 2026! ☀️

What an incredible first day of our Summer HAF programme! 🤩

Our children had an action-packed day enjoying:
🌟 Glow in the Dark Sports
🚗 RC Cars
🌱 Creating their own vegetable patch
🔫 Nerf Fun & Laser Rage
🫧 Bubble Fun
🦖 Inflatable Dinosaur & 🦄 Unicorn Play

At lunchtime, everyone got creative by making their own sandwiches before enjoying a healthy lunch together. 🥪🍎

The smiles, laughter and energy throughout the day were amazing, and we can’t wait to do it all again tomorrow with even more exciting activities!

A huge thank you to all of our fantastic staff and the children for making Day 1 such a success. 💙
