⚽ FIRST PRE-SEASON FRIENDLY | FULL TIME
Oldham Dynamoes FC 3–3 Kersal Rising
A really positive first pre-season outing for our Open Age team.
We went into half-time 1–0 down, but the response after the break was excellent. The lads showed great character, kept encouraging each other and never stopped believing. Three second-half goals saw us come away with a 3–3 draw. 💪⚽
There were some encouraging signs in the way we want to play — using the width, getting runners in behind, pressing with purpose and attacking quickly after winning possession back.
👏 Raihaan – excellent pressing and a deserved goal
💪 Masud – huge energy and work rate in midfield
⭐ Man of the Match: Alex – outstanding at centre-back and topped his performance off with a goal.
Plenty still to work on as we build towards the season, particularly fitness, maintaining our team shape, reacting quicker when possession is lost and being more clinical in front of goal.
But for our first pre-season friendly, the foundations are there and, most importantly, the attitude was right.
