🎨🔫🪖 🥽 Let's go!!!!!

As a bit of a reward for the Football Futures Manchester lads, they were treated to an epic battle of paintball. A much deserved bonus for the students, and staff, after all the hard work and effort put in, not only recently, but over the last 3 years.

It will always remain the case that one of the main benefits of joining a specialist football college programme is the camaraderie and friendship built throughout their time on the programme.

Days like this and the recent trip to Spain are exactly why Football Futures and Access Sport model stands apart.

🎬 Little snapshot of the visit from ex-professional footballer Danny Whittaker.

Danny made over 800 professional appearances for the likes of Macclesfield Town, Port Vale, Oldham Athletic and Chesterfield. It was fantastic for the Football Futures Manchester students to take part in a session and gain some valuable insight from someone as experienced as Danny.

Something we'll look to do more of in 2026/27.

Today the FF Manchester lads had a visit from ex-professional footballer Danny Whittaker. Danny came in to talk about his career and experiences as well as talking about future opportunities after college.

Danny made over 800 professional appearances for the likes of Macclesfield Town, Port Vale, Oldham Athletic and Chesterfield. He won the League 2 and National League titles in his career as well as multiple individual awards.

After his playing career Danny went on to coaching as well as managing Macclesfield FC winning the North West Counties Premier Division. Now Danny coaches the u23 SYT at Macclesfield.

We’d like to thank Danny for his time today and wish him all the best in his coaching journey.

A look behind the scenes at Football Futures Manchester, where as the season comes to an end, attention turns to 1-to-1 & small group work.

At FF we find this type of inclusive training is highly effective because it provides personalised, training tailored to a player’s specific needs, allowing them to improve technical skills, tactical awareness, and confidence often faster than in team settings.

At FF we like to provide focused attention from our coaches, maximising ball touches and enabling instant correction of mistakes, all with a view to improving performance.

Plus,, the lads love it ❤️⚽️

First series of taster session availble to current year 10s, in collaboration with ambitious Cheshire outfit Crewe FC.

Football Futures hopes to help build upon the club's 39 teams across the male, female, and disability footballing pathways, including a progressive and aspirational Men's 1st Team.

Creating a vibrant college academy programme starting September 2027 based at the Crewe FC sports pavilion.
