Stop Focusing On The Hazard…⚠️

The more attention you give the danger, the easier it is to get cautious and start steering the shot.

That can change the motion and affect the strike.

Instead, pick your landing spot and commit to it.

Shift your focus away from what might go wrong and onto the shot you’re actually trying to play.

Don’t Get Too Cute From This Lie…

Short-sided from clover like this, it’s tempting to try and manufacture the perfect soft shot.

But all that grass between clubface and ball can kill the strike and make the ball come out much deader than expected.

Use a little more loft, pick your landing spot and commit fully through the strike.

You can’t control exactly how this lie reacts — but you can control your decision and commitment.

Tension Is Ruining Your Strike…😬

Get nervous around the green and it’s easy for the action to become short, quick and stabby.

Instead, think smooth and sweeping. Let the club brush the turf rather than trying to hit at the ball.

Less tension. Better flow. More predictable contact.
