SUMMER STRENGTH MAINTENANCE GUIDE ☀️💪
Going away this summer? Here's how to keep your progress!
1.) Adjust your training volume
When life gets busier, focus on the minimum effective dose. A couple of quality sessions each week can maintain a huge amount of your strength and fitness.
2.) Prioritise protein
Holidays, BBQs and weekends away are part of summer. A simple way to support recovery, energy and muscle maintenance is making sure you're getting enough protein throughout the day. Keep it simple and focus on what you can control.
3.) Get your steps in
Movement doesn't have to come from structured training. Explore on foot, take the scenic route, walk to the coffee shop, wander around a new city. Those extra steps add up quickly and help keep you feeling good.
4.) Pack your trainers
You don't need to earn your meals or punish yourself for enjoying summer., but packing your trainers for your holidays gives you the option the option to move, whether that's a gym session, a run, a hike or a quick hotel workout.
5.) Pick one fitness non-negotiable
Maybe it's two gym sessions a week, maybe it's hitting your daily step target, or maybe it's starting every day with movement. Choose one habit you can stick to wherever summer takes you.
Remember: summer is a season to enjoy, so keep moving, make memories and trust that your progress is built over months, not a single holiday.
