LB Row 21/08/25
Launch #64 (11/25)
Crew: Lawrence (cox), Kenny, Tom, Matthew, Theresa and guest Richard (Tom's Dad)
Weather: Light winds, overcast with sunny spells.

It was a nice evening for a row, little wind and still waters. However, the wind did increase before coming back to shore. High tide, overcast and NE winds.

It was the last row for Tom & Matthew as their time in Uist comes to an end, they sadly leave the club too. We wish them all the best as they head back to the mainland and welcome them back anytime for a row. Good Luck!

Ahoy! πŸš£β€β™‚οΈβš“οΈ

Good morning,

If you haven't seen or heard yet, Emma had a horrendous first night on her solo row. The forecast was not as expected and she ended up in very challenging sea and weather conditions just off Skye 🌬🌊
Yesterday, after assessment, Emma decided to abandon her solo attempt and head back home. Land support assisted in getting Emma towed home.
Depsite all the months of planning and her past experience, we were lucky she was in local waters and we had help to get her back home. Whilst Emma is disappointed about her challenge attempt, she's relieved and thankful to be back on land, thankfully she's ok and it's time for her to rest and recover from the dramatic experience.

Many thanks to everyone involved in coordinating assistance and for everyone's support.

Rest well and take care Emma. βš“οΈ
