An excellent week last week with RFFR ladies taking home the spoils in both the Dinas Bran Castle race and the Chirk Castle relays as hosted by
Now we're onto a weekend of UTS and Ras Y Gader.

Following on from our most successful Llangollen Fell Race ever, this weekend a few members went on the hunt for the next best thing.
First up was UTVV Slovenia with Dave Gittins and Dan Hickey taking on the 60km distance, whilst Dan Robb, Tom Jenkins and former chair Warren Renkel took on the 30km. There were some proper solid times and absolutely nobody got lost. At any point. At all.
Next up, repping the RFFR massive at the London Marathon we had Ben Chesterton, reaping the rewards of some soul crushing hours studying the Llangollen canal towpaths.
Then last but not least, Ali P nailing an 8th place at Mon & Brec 40 canal race.

Did you know Llangollen Fell Race is one of the country's biggest and it's NEXT SUNDAY. Whether you're a mountain goat or a total newbie, we want YOU involved!

🏔️ Choose Your Adventure:
The Big One: For the seasoned fell runners ready to conquer the peaks 18 or 10 miles.
The "I’m New Here" Loop: A 5-mile beginners' course perfect for those who want to give it a bash.

Not a runner? No problem! Plenty of us will be "jog-walking" our way around for the sheer joy of it, all while raising much-needed funds for Llangollen Food Share

Also new this year, we have altered the finish of the 17 and 10 mile races, less road, more climb. All three races go up and over Llangollen's iconic Dinas Bran castle on the way back!

A band of intrepid explorers set out to reccy the Llangollen Fell Race route over the weekend. They spent some time clearing away the fog for you so it'll surely be spectacular views come race day 😉
You've still got some time to get a bit more training in and test out the route, don't forget to get your entry in.
