Delighted to add and to our lineup for the festival of fan activism on the 13th June.

Alex is a founder of MCFC Fans support foodbank and author of ‘For the Love: How Football Supporters Can Change the World’ is a look at what it means to be a football supporter in the 21st century, and how football supporters are organising, overcoming tribalism, and rediscovering the ties that bind them together to fight back against billionaire owners and powerful broadcasters.

He is part of the interim board of The Citizens Trust, and a member of the Fans Supporting Foodbanks National Network, working on the Right to Food campaign and a range of other community actions. He is also involved with the wider football supporter movement in the UK, playing a role in the FSA’s Stop Exploiting Loyalty campaign and the organisation of mass protests at Manchester City.

Daniel Brown is Business Development Manager and a Coach at Liverpool Homeless Football Club, where he leads the Spirit of Merseyside League and works with partners across the public, private, and voluntary sectors to create opportunities for people experiencing homelessness and social exclusion.

They join on our panels.

“What can football do for a city?”

It can put a roof over someone’s head. Help fund a law centre. Get people who’ve been shut out back in. Build clubs that answer to their members, not their owners.

On 13 June we’re putting them all in one room.

The Festival of Fan Activism at The Dock Wall. Homeless teams, law centres, inclusion projects, fan-owned clubs from across the city and across Europe.

Come and see what football can really do.

⚽ Women’s first team. Recruiting now for season 26/27

Playing in the LWYFL, matches every Sunday at Admiral Park.

We want players who want to be part of building something special. A side that finished second last season and isn’t settling for it. A club that’s owned by its members and growing fast. A Sunday that means something to the people on the pitch and the people watching it.

If that’s the football you want to be playing, DM us.
