Aligning things nicely is nice 😊

Some boards are really hard to hand over when they get finished. This one was the hardest so far!
Although is such a legend i know its in good hands.
8’x22”x3” and 58L
Padauk wood veneer top and bottom with 2+1 fin boxes.
Morlader construction means not glassed over the wood.

The board is a ‘MorLader’ bare oak deck and base at 33deg angle for a bit of change of flex from side to side. Stiffer one way flexier the other. Asymmetric flex if you like.
Probably wont make loads of difference on this board. There is so much volume in the 6’x20”x2 3/4” ‘s of it. 39L. And weighs nothing of course. No wax needed on these models. As seen in the pictures.
Had a 7” connect pg longboard fin in, in the pics.

Another ‘Morlader’ (Pirate in Cornish) bare oak deck little whip.
5’8” x 19 1/2” x 2 3/8” and 29L and literally weighs nothing!
The oak veneer reinforcements on the hand squeezy area and fin boxes (and lightning bolt, an ode to legend 😬) have also been left bare. No resin over them. Might be good. Maybe a bit of fun lift from it or something?! Haha. Looks and feels cool.
Epoxied area on the tail of the deck. Mainly to make it safe to remove and replace tail pads. Wanna keep the wood nice.
Went a bit silly with the colours but was having a play with pigments, love and hate it at the same time.

Cork wrapped over recycled eps with a maple veneer base, single fin and 6’1” x 20 1/3” x 3” and 42L

Super chunky but short. Easy to catch waves but super manoeuvrable on them. These shapes are really fun and floaty. Works really well with a 6-7” single fin.
The cork offers a really nice grip. No wax needed on these. Feels lovely and warm under your feet too.
This is the third (prototype if you like) cork board ‘Rusk’ from the factory. Lots of things went wrong during the build of this one. Tried a few things that didn’t work but got there in the end. And it lead to perfecting the method of making them. Always learn more from mistakes than getting it right all the time.
It has been used a few times already.
Its a demo if anyone wants to have a go on it and/or will sell it off, to a good home of course.
