Is there anything more frustrating than golf? 3 Pro-Ams this week. 3 different ways to not make a good score!
Monday: Pannal, tweaked my back cutting back ivy on Sunday and was fully shanking it on the warm up. Drove the ball great but was scared over every iron shot, had 2 triples and the rest was decent for +4
Wednesday:Ilkley, driver was poor, wedge play was great, putter was cold +1
Friday: Oakdale, driver was average, iron play was good but mis-clubbed 3 times that cost me 5 shots for +5 in some tough conditions
BUT, it’s lovely to have the opportunity to be out playing and competing and spending time with members and meeting some new people.
