I'll be honest — I used to lead with the fitness stuff. The fat loss, the strength gains, the "best shape of your life" promise. And yeah, that all definitely happens.

But it's not why people stay.

I went through my Google reviews recently (39 of them now, all 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️) looking for patterns.

And the thing that came up again and again wasn't about abs or weight loss or strength. It was this:

"Feel so much better, like a weight is lifted when I leave!." — C***i

"Does wonders for my mood, stress levels and general menopausal annoyances." — Claire

"Training is now part of my toolkit for staying mentally well 🧠💪🏾" — Mel

"Gaining a sense of how much I can do, as opposed to what I'm losing, has been greatly beneficial." — Nicola

Boxing and kickboxing are genuinely some of the best tools out there for mental health.

Something happens when you're hitting pads and bags (or me!) — the stress just goes away. You can feel it leaving.

And it's not just the hour of training. It's the hour away — away from work, from your phone, from whatever's been rattling around your brain all week. That space does more for your head than people expect.

Then there's the people. The incredible community we've, all going through the same journey. Adult life is so busy, and social lives dwindle. It’s so important and refreshing to spend quality time with like minded people.

So if you're looking for something that'll help you smash your fitness goals AND sort your head out at the same time — come hit some pads and feel the difference for yourself.

We've got space in our group classes right now, and a few limited 1-2-1 PT slots too.

Nat’s review….

‘I have always HATED exercise. Like truly despised it.

Since starting boxing bootcamps with Stu over a year ago then moving onto weekly PT sessions, I have started exercising regularly, and even getting anxious if I can’t make a session.

I can’t think of a better review than a true conversion, and I genuinely think starting to train with him was one of the best things that happened for me last year.

He pushes me in a way that doesn’t make me hate my life, and is teaching me to do things I never thought I could. It’s empowering to think that I could actually throw a punch on target, or kick somebody in the head.

I’ve also lost two stone and now don’t feel like crying when I have to power walk anywhere. Truly life-changing.

Stu is also a properly lovely bloke, we have a laugh and I really do look forward to my sessions.

Couldn’t ask for a better trainer.’

🥊 Big shoutout to Nat this week — 2 stone down!

Another client hits a massive milestone!

Nat joined us on our 8-week bootcamp in Calverley last year before moving into 1-2-1 personal training to give kickboxing a go. She took to it immediately — spinning kicks within 3 weeks — and hasn’t looked back since!

Nearly a year of consistent training later, Nat is 2 stone down, healthier, happier, and has finally found a form of exercise she genuinely loves.

She’d previously struggled to find something that worked for her, but her early morning Tuesday sessions are now a firm part of her weekly routine.

So proud of her progress and her change in mindset around exercise! 💪
