Rodley Cricket Club Aspiring Club based in West Leeds with new facilities/clubhouse. 3 senior teams in Airedale & Wharfedale Cricket League and 2 in Dales Council Cricket League.

We also run U9s - U18s in AWJCL. Rodley Cricket Club is a thriving village club who provide opportunities for both recreational and competitive cricketers. Currently, the club runs 4 senior teams, with the 1st, 2nd & 3rd XI playing in the Airedale & Wharfdale Cricket League, as well as an additional Saturday 3rd XI playing in the Dales Council Cricket League. Furthermore, we have Junior teams from U9 to U18 and with four senior teams providing a pathway for our juniors, many proudly progress to represent Rodley at senior level. During the summer season, the club run a ‘Last Man Stands’ mid-week social side. Moreover, during the winter, we also run an indoor cricket league team that compete at Leeds City Academy. In 2021, Rodley CC were awarded the Bradford League ‘Spirit of Cricket’ award and in 2022, we won the ‘Fair Play’ award in the Mid Yorkshire Social Cricket League, demonstrating our core values of playing to win, within the laws of the game. We are always looking for new members, whether you are a senior player who would improve the playing strength of our senior sides, a social or recreational player looking to resume or take-up the game of cricket, a junior player wanting to learn or someone who would like to volunteer at the club. Rodley Cricket Club has a warm and friendly atmosphere and newcomers are made to feel welcome. We pride ourselves in being community focused and regularly host community events.

We received a grant from Stanningley Educational Charity for our 2026 season! It went a long way to helping with the junior and senior sections 🏏

As you know, or possibly you don't, the charity offers grants to groups offering social and physical advancement for young people under the age of 25, through a wide variety of activities, from football, cricket, Scouts & Guides, to swimming clubs, air training corps, martial arts, outdoor & indoor activities, and everything in between!

As the darker nights draw in, do you have children looking for something new that is not only enjoyable but educational, and held in a safe environment supervised by authorised volunteers?

If so, get in touch, and we'll introduce you to an amazing choice of activities in the Pudsey Borough area!

This year, we had no less than 15 groups apply for grants, so there's a great deal going on in the area!

🏏🖤 ANOTHER TREMENDOUS JUNIOR SEASON FOR RODLEY! 🤍🏏

Last week we celebrated the individual successes across our 9 junior teams. 🏆

Together, our youngsters played an impressive 142 games of cricket this season! 👏💫

Congratulations to all our young superstars and to all players who represented the club this year! 👏💫

And, as we said on the night, none of this would have been possible without the incredible commitment from all 16 of our coaches and managers and the great support from our parents. 🖤

A huge THANK YOU to you all. 🙌
