We also run U9s - U18s in AWJCL. Rodley Cricket Club is a thriving village club who provide opportunities for both recreational and competitive cricketers. Currently, the club runs 4 senior teams, with the 1st, 2nd & 3rd XI playing in the Airedale & Wharfdale Cricket League, as well as an additional Saturday 3rd XI playing in the Dales Council Cricket League. Furthermore, we have Junior teams from
U9 to U18 and with four senior teams providing a pathway for our juniors, many proudly progress to represent Rodley at senior level. During the summer season, the club run a ‘Last Man Stands’ mid-week social side. Moreover, during the winter, we also run an indoor cricket league team that compete at Leeds City Academy. In 2021, Rodley CC were awarded the Bradford League ‘Spirit of Cricket’ award and in 2022, we won the ‘Fair Play’ award in the Mid Yorkshire Social Cricket League, demonstrating our core values of playing to win, within the laws of the game. We are always looking for new members, whether you are a senior player who would improve the playing strength of our senior sides, a social or recreational player looking to resume or take-up the game of cricket, a junior player wanting to learn or someone who would like to volunteer at the club. Rodley Cricket Club has a warm and friendly atmosphere and newcomers are made to feel welcome. We pride ourselves in being community focused and regularly host community events.
