A new cockpit enclosure fitted at Portavadie! The weather didn’t quite get the memo, but in a way it was the perfect day to see this one doing exactly what it was designed to do!

This Westerly Oceanranger now has a comfortable, sheltered cockpit space that can be enjoyed whatever the west coast decides to throw at it!

We’re hoping for a bit more sunshine for the Richard Mille Cup starting in Largs on Monday! It will be a privilege to see these incredible yachts visiting the Clyde, and even better when the weather plays along!

Fancy a new cockpit tent?

Among all the racing at Scottish Series, it was lovely to see this Elan GT6 in Tarbert wearing her new Saturn Sails cockpit tent ⛵️

From Great Harbour Yachts LLP , she made a pretty smart sight in the marina and was a nice reminder that the week is not only about what happens out on the racecourse 🌊

Whether it’s an easily assembled cockpit tent, cover, sprayhood, sail bag or other canvas work, each piece is made to suit the individual boat, with the fit and finish tailored to how she’s laid out and used.

Still buzzing after a brilliant Scottish Series!!

Close racing, great wind and sunshine!! Headline result has got to be Saturn Sails powered ‘Po’ who not only won the 707 class comfortably but won the overall trophy for best performing boat!!

So pleased for this family team who are only in their second season of sailing the 707!👏👏👏

On the eve of Scottish Series, the 2026 fleet list already points to a superb weekend of racing ahead in Tarbert.

IRC 1 looks set to be one of the standout fleets with 13 boats entered, including a tight pack of J/109s that should make every start, shift and boat length count. The Hunter 707 and Etchells one-design fleets add even more intensity, while IRC Coastal also has real depth and plenty to watch right across the handicap racing.

With a mixed forecast expected to bring a blend of dry spells, cloud and some rain, teams will need to stay sharp and adaptable from race to race on Loch Fyne.

We’re looking forward to being there across the weekend — best of luck to all crews from everyone at Saturn Sails.
