Huge thanks to all family and friends of the club and members of the public who came along to the LKC demonstration night last Monday. It was great to see everyone!

Well done to all our students who took part for giving an excellent example of what karate training is all about!

Some fantastic reminders from Cai, who gave the presentation, that karate is for everyone regardless of age or current fitness level. If you’re aged between 5 and 120 and you’d like to give karate a try, simply turn up at any training session in some loose clothing. 7pm start, Mondays & Wednesdays at Largs Campus.

LKC had a small team of Macewan and Duncan (plus coach, Mike) at Saturday’s KUGB Shotokan Cup in Nottingham. An excellent result for Macewan, making the kata semi finals in his first major event in the 16-20 age category!

Special thanks to Sensei Bill Hair for our invitation.

Great to see some first timers, kids and adults, taking to the mat. Fantastic team spirit on the day looking out for each other, with a great haul of medals won.
