Coaching, teaching, and developing my own kids is the most rewarding job the world has to offer.
Period.
To be a parent, with overwhelming knowledge and expertise to offer and instil your kids (and others) is a tremendous gift of this creation.
I've had teachers, other parents, and numerous other walks of life tell me my kids are "naturals," often negatively implying that their prowess and progress is just by chance and not from dedication and commitment; oblivious to the hard miles to attain anything in life, as they soak up more bum time in a chair and another snack, whilst they watch their children develop numerous 'conditions' sat in front of a screen stuffing sugar.
No.
It's nurture all day long. To get anyone anywhere.
And the next day.
Repeat.
The sad thing is, for much of what I parent, I need no qualifications. Just pure motivation and desire for them to do well.
We all have the ability to be athletic, intelligent, and creative, written in our DNA.
It takes hard dedicated effort. Time. Lots more time. Graft. More graft. Explanations. Guided learning. Changing tact. Changing tact again... To get halfway there to your full potential.
My children excel because they lap up what I offer them. I chose to step-up, just as I did to life back in my own childhood when it could have been very different.
I've been persecuted my whole life by the naysayers who damn with feint praise, and take pot shots to try and topple your flow. Expending their own energy to try and thwart my own progress, rather than advance their own beings. Sad really.
Same old story for a very many.
However, this can all be channeled as fuel for excellence. There is no greater feeling when humble and performing, as the commentators sit bone idol being made to eat their words.
My clients get the same treatment as my children, and my own approach to health and wellbeing. Total dedication, consistency, and oodles of motivational language from a black and white perspective.
Because it works. Best.
Real knowledge. Trench experience. Transformational and Charismatic leadership.
If I can internally drive myself on this journey, help others who really want it, and ignite my own kids to numerous feats in physical ability and academic proficiency, there is no excuse for anyone. To not at least try to better yourself and those in your sphere of influence is a crying shame. It also beats using a tablet and a TV as a substitute parent, whilst scrolling empty online content for your own selfish dopamine hits.
Yes my eldest loves to swim fly. In fact she spends most her time doing laps underwater pretending to be a mermaid. She can rattle out pull-ups better than any fully grown male I know (except for me of course), and is already an animal on the mats at her local dojo doing BJJ. No.2 is in hot pursuit, already wanting to be top spot. Lots to come in future, if you can handle it.
Proud Dad? 100%
So many dad's get a bad wrap in this world, and it's high time we pressed back and reminded the PC world just what we are capable of and how important we are.
Train Smart, be Awesome!
