🏑 The next generation 🏑

This evening, I worked with a group of the teenagers from Gillingham Anchorians Hockey Club

We spent three hours completing England Hockey leadership course.

The aim of the course was to:

• Introduce the key qualities of being a good leader
• Demonstrate the roles and responsibilities of being a leader
• Highlight the importance of effective communication, both verbal and nonverbal
• Establish how a good leader can motivate players

We discussed the importance of the younger generation taking on leadership roles within the club and allowing them to gain experiences to take the club forward over the coming years.

This season, the group will start to take on internal roles - helping with junior training, writing match reports, taking photos and videos for social media posts, being role models for the U8’s, U10’s and U12’s and helping at social events.

The next generation of Anchorians HC - full of ideas and motivation. Good luck team!

🚴‍♂️ Balance Bike to Pedal Bike 🚴‍♂️

A lovely way to start the school year with one of my favourite courses.

Determination, perseverance, laughter, tears, excitement and nervousness all rolled into one.

Well done Aurelia, Alex, Devon, Joseph, Toby, Maeve and Pippa. Happy riding!

🎉 Anchorians Hockey Club 🎉

Anchs HC will always hold a special place in my heart. It’s where I started my competitive sports journey, made wonderful friends and learnt how to party 🤣

This year we worked on a project to achieve ClubMark status.

ClubMark is an official accreditation scheme that sets minimum operating standards for community hockey clubs to ensure safe, high-quality, and well-managed environments.

After months of hard work, we achieved the status 🥳🥳

Thank you to Trevor (chairperson person) for asking me to complete the task. Thank you to Gaynor England Hockey for supporting us through the whole process. Thank you to Gillingham Anchorians Hockey committee for replying to the hundreds of what’s app messages I sent to you 🙏

Let’s start the 2026/27 season as we mean to go on 🏑🏑🏑🏑

🙏 Thank you 🙏

As we finish another academic year, I’d like to thank all the schools I’ve worked with. Thank you for trusting me to work with your staff and children. This has been the quickest school year yet and I’m looking forward to working with you all again next year.

Thank you to all the lovely families for joining me at my toddler/preschool and home education sport and balance bike classes. Classes will start again in September.

Thank you for all my end of year cards, letters, presents and kind words.

📚Regis Manor Primary School 📚

What I love about my job is the variety of schools I work with.

Regis Manor was a new school for me this year. The deputy head teacher called and asked if I could work with them delivery PE activities throughout the school; of course I accepted.

Nursery and Year R - Engaging PE classes
Year 1/2 - Multi Skills competition
Year 3/4 - Dodgeball competition
Year 5/6 - Rapid Fire Cricket competition
Nursery to Year 6 - working with selected children to develop their gross motor skills

Thank you for allowing me to work with your staff and children. I hope you all have a wonderful summer
