Words can’t explain how proud I am.
From the moment Kyran was about 3 years old, I knew there was something special about him. I’ve watched every step of his journey — the highs, setbacks, sacrifices and countless hours of hard work. Through every obstacle, he kept believing and chasing his dream.
Today, on his 17th birthday, that dream becomes a reality. Kyran Thompson — Professional Footballer. 🖤🤍⚽️
This wasn’t an easy decision. Turning down the opportunity of a 5-year professional contract with Arsenal was incredibly difficult. Arsenal will always be in our hearts ❤️🤍, but the pathway Newcastle showed Kyran and the belief they have in him made this the right decision for his future.
We’ll always be grateful to Arsenal for the part they played in his journey. Now, an exciting new chapter begins. 🖤🤍
I know Grandpa Fred would be looking down incredibly proud today. I just wish he could have been here to see it. ❤️🙏🏽
