A delayed post-Plains Rally report after a busy week at Ignition HQ!

Colin Minton / Jordan Joines bringing home a good result for their Welsh campaign, especially considering a lack of power steering in the morning, after a mid-day massage from the team manager (Ella the dog, not Bryan thankfully) the boys went back out to make up some time, now sitting comfortably in the top 3🥉in W14 and 5th overall in the Pirelli Welsh Rally Championship

A stunning result for Julian F Burns and Harry Walshaw Rally Co-Driver, Julian put in an incredible performance on his debut in the new Mini, setting some convincing times against established crews bringing home a 3rd in class 🥉

Yet another solid performance from Ashleigh Morris Rallying and Matthew Baddeley, a drama free day with an increasing pace throughout the day, their 4th in class leaves them leading their class 🥇leading the FWD category🥇and 3rd overall 🥉 in the ANWCC Forest Championship

A mixed day for the Ignition crews on Round 2 of the BTRDA Rally Border Counties Rally

Unfortunately, Colin Minton & Jordan Joines suffering from a mechanical retirement after SS3, opting to save the car for this weekend's Plains Rally

Ashleigh Morris Rallying & Matthew Baddeley had a clean run with no dramas, bringing the Fiesta R200 home with a good points haul sees them both sitting comfortably 3rd in class in the BTRDA & English Rally Championship championships!

Carlisle Stages Rally Recap – Killer Kielder Strikes Again!

Kielder Forest lived up to its brutal reputation this weekend, throwing everything at the team — but we’re heading home with smiles, stories, and some seriously hard-earned results!

David Higgins 75 & Keith Jones were on it from the word go, setting strong times before gear selection and brake issues crept in. Despite that, the pair kept spirits high — even after a front-right puncture on the final stage sent them into one of Kielder’s infamous ditches. Hosting a multiple British Rally Championship & ARA champ in our little M-Sport Fiesta R2T was an honour! Not only fast, but an absolute gent — chatting with fans stage-side even after the off.

Colin Minton & Jordan Joines pushed through a challenging day to bring the car home 8th overall and 3rd in class in the Interclub event 🥉 — a strong start to their Pirelli Welsh Rally Championship campaign!

Meghan Okane & Nikki Addison? Unstoppable! Another BRC4 win🥇despite tackling the roughest stages with a seriously bent rear beam. True grit and determination from this duo — back-to-back victories locked in from the pair, their campaign off to the perfect start, we’re incredibly grateful of your points for the team and super happy for you and your mega crew! 🙏

Fun Bobby Racing & Dan James were also caught out by the Kielder chaos — an issue before SS3 meant the Fiesta Rally3 wouldn’t fire up. But valuable experience gained, and big confidence in the car’s potential on gravel. Thank you for the teams points nomination, fingers crossed for Round 3!

𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 – Carlisle Stages Rally
We’re proud to have the 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Scottish talents, Robert Proudlock & Meghan O’Kane, representing yourbrandhere.org / Ignition Motorsport Rally Team this weekend at Round 2 of the British Rally Championship – the Carlisle Stages Rally. They’re joined by none other than guest driver and rally legend, David Higgins 75, multiple BRC & ARA champion.

Fun Bobby Racing, last year’s Junior BRC champ, returns with co-driver Dan James as the top BRC3 crew. They’ll be scoring alongside BRC4 leaders Meghan O’kane & Nikki Addison – both flying the flag for Ignition Motorsport.

However, just two days before the rally, we were hit with unexpected news: a BRC bulletin announced class amalgamations 𝘈𝘧𝘵𝘦𝘳 the official team nomination deadline. The changes significantly impact our team points-scoring potential.

According to the bulletin:
• David Higgins & Meghan O’Kane are now grouped with all Rally4 crews in Junior BRC.

• Robert Proudlock has been shifted into the top-tier BRC1 category with his Rally3 Fiesta – now up against Rally2 machinery.

We’re currently reviewing the situation and considering our next steps. Despite the setback, our team spirit remains strong.
