Rory, Eoin & Rhuairdh from our U12 squad got a taste of competitive football today and were part of the team from Inverness Gaelic school that won a national Gaelic primary school tournament.

The lads have begun their trek to the States with the u16’s and u18’s reaching a steady 140 miles so far 🏃‍♂️🚲🚶‍♂️

This week we have the u13’s and u14’s joining us for the rest of the way with the days counting down to Scotlands opening fixture with Haiti 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Pre season is nearing and we also have several trials across the next few weeks ⚽️

It’s that time of year again where the squads are preparing on and off the park for the coming season.

As part of their “pre pre-season” the boys from u13, u14, u16 and u18’s are going to follow Scotland to the World Cup ⚽️

The players collectively are going to cover the 5728 miles from Inverness-Boston-Miami by walking, running and cycling 🚶‍♂️🏃‍♂️🚴

And who knows, we might actually qualify for the next round and give the boys an extended challenge 🤞

Below is the fundraising link for anyone that is looking to help us out in the ever challenging times of funding all our youth teams facilities, transport and equipment.

As ever all efforts are welcome and we hope you join us on our journey and see how the boys progress. We might even get the coaches to ‘help’😬

The U12s continued their transition to 11-a-side football with a strong showing against Lossiemouth yesterday at Charleston.
The boys scorers were Harris x 2, Rhys, Eli, Logan, Ollie & Max.
Well done boys and we hope you enjoy your end of season awards this afternoon with the rest of the YD squads.

A Super, Smashing, Great night with professional darts player Alan ‘Soots’ Soutar. Soots is a current Professional Darts Corporation tour card holder, ranked 53 in the order of merit. Not bad for someone who is a fire fighter, trains guide dogs and throws darts in his spare time.😜He is a pro tour winner, a world champion with Scotland and has multiple appearances at the World Championships, hosted at the famous Ally Pally. Soots does Bullseye is a take on the old gameshow where 3 teams compete to win Bullys special prize. Also legs Vs the crowd available.

An excellent day at the Clach YD mini festival at our Dalneigh training venue. 10 teams participated over 5 pitches including players from Thistle, Cauldeen, Milton of Leys, Dingwall, Gelnurquhart, Crown, Kinmylies & mixed players. Really good turn out. Hopefully a fun day for the players and we look forward to hosting you again soon. ⚪️⚫️⚪️⚫️
