A week of mixed results but of particular note is the resurgence of the Men's C Team who have found their winning ways. Well done to all players this past week for stoically playing on despite some bad weather.

Another busy week ahead plus action over the weekend with a team playing in the Durham Trophy on Sunday morning and a number of members playing at The Ramsey Triples. Good luck one and all.

Further to the 'What's On' for this week, both Hayward League matches on Tuesday evening have been postponed to a later date.

Yesterday saw the dedication of The Franklin Challenge Shield followed by the D&D Drawn Pairs. We thank the Franklin family for this new award which will be awarded for consistent performance, participation and ability throughout the season. It is primarily designed to get the best out of everyone all the time and will serve as a permanent reminder of Joy and Mike’s commitment to the club.

The competition was played in true HBC competitive spirit and fun. Well done to Nicky & Phil our winners who will face the runners up Steve and Kathy on Finals Day.

Another full week ahead including the clash of our Men's B and C Teams on Thursday evening. This will be a great game to watch so if you are free, come along. You will be made very welcome.

Unfortunately this week, two of our teams have been awarded matches as the opposition have conceded due to not being able to field a team. This is not the way we wish to win and we hope that in the future those clubs have more support for their matches.

This afternoon our Over 60s B Team are at home so why not pop along to support them? Play starts at 2pm.
