HOLT RFC Holt Rugby Football Club The team moved to a meadow in Holt (now the Holt community centre) whilst using the facilities at the Railway Inn.

Founded in 1961 when the first fixture was played at Gresham's School between West Norfolk & Holt using the facilities of the White Lion Hotel to change and entertain. In 1967 the club moved to their present ground in High Kelling where it has continued to improve both it's playing areas and clubhouse. Holt RFC now enjoys 3 full size pitches, 6 dedicated Mini Pitches & a fantastic clubhouse that a

re all owned by the club itself. Within the clubhouse there are changing facilities for up to 100 players as well as a warm and friendly club room able to seat 120 guests for dinners and pre-match luncheons. All of this makes Holt RFC the best Club in North Norfolk with much to offer experienced or new rugby players and their family.

Just a reminder that tomorrow we’ll be giving our clubhouse a well-deserved freshen up! 🎨🧹

If you can spare a few hours to come along and lend a hand, we’d be incredibly grateful. Many hands make light work, and it’s a great opportunity to help keep our club looking its best ahead of the new season.

Whether you’re an experienced touch player or completely new to the game, come along and get involved. A great way to stay active, improve your skills and be part of a fantastic group.

📍 Tomorrow – Round 3 of the Norfolk Touch Development Series at Wymondham
Our Dragonflies will be heading to Wymondham looking to build on an impressive summer so far. The squad continues to grow in numbers, confidence and quality, and we’re excited to see what this talented group can achieve.

The atmosphere, commitment and enjoyment around this team have been brilliant all summer. If you’ve been thinking about giving touch rugby a go, now is the perfect time to join us!

Another chance on the big stage for our very own George Marsh! 🌹🏉

Huge congratulations to George on being named in Andy Titterrell’s 30-player England U20 Men’s squad for the 2026 World Rugby Junior World Championship in Georgia. After captaining England U20s against Leicester Tigers U23 earlier this month, George continues to go from strength to strength and has earned his place on the world stage.

Representing your club and country is a special achievement, and everyone at Holt RFC is incredibly proud to see one of our own pulling on the England shirt once again.

What an incredible achievement and a testament to the hard work, dedication and consistency Freddie has shown throughout his career.

It’s always fantastic to see one of our very own Owls achieving such success on the biggest stages. Everyone at Holt RFC is incredibly proud of what you’ve accomplished and we look forward to watching many more milestones in the future.

What a player George Marsh is turning out to be! 🏉🔥

Not only has George been selected to represent England U20s this Friday night, but he has also been handed the honour of captaining the side! 👏🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

England U20s take on Leicester Tigers U23s in a warm-up fixture under the lights at Mattioli Woods Welford Road, and we couldn’t be prouder to see one of our own leading the team.

George, your dedication, commitment and determination continue to set the standard. Every opportunity you earn is thoroughly deserved, and this latest achievement is another huge milestone in what is becoming an incredible journey.

Make sure you keep an eye on their upcoming fixtures and events as this incredible group continues to go from strength to strength.

What started as an idea has grown into something truly special. The Dragonflies are becoming something quite extraordinary, inspiring players, families and supporters wherever they go. Their passion, determination and team spirit make them a real credit to Holt RFC.
