HOLT RFC Holt Rugby Football Club The team moved to a meadow in Holt (now the Holt community centre) whilst using the facilities at the Railway Inn.

Founded in 1961 when the first fixture was played at Gresham's School between West Norfolk & Holt using the facilities of the White Lion Hotel to change and entertain. In 1967 the club moved to their present ground in High Kelling where it has continued to improve both it's playing areas and clubhouse. Holt RFC now enjoys 3 full size pitches, 6 dedicated Mini Pitches & a fantastic clubhouse that a

re all owned by the club itself. Within the clubhouse there are changing facilities for up to 100 players as well as a warm and friendly club room able to seat 120 guests for dinners and pre-match luncheons. All of this makes Holt RFC the best Club in North Norfolk with much to offer experienced or new rugby players and their family.

A number of Holt youth and Dragonfly players represented Midlands Tigers over the bank holiday weekend at the Junior National Touch Rugby Championships.

It was a great weekend of touch rugby, even though the weather tries to spoil it on Saturday, there was no chance of that. All the boys and girls got into the spirit of the championships by wearing face paint, bright orange glasses, glitter in their hair and on the face, music coming from portable speakers…it truly was a great event.

Holt RFC are extremely proud to have ten players involved with the club, representing the Midlands Tigers, with two of the players getting voted MVP for their team.
We’re not stopping here, Holt RFC are looking to increase our Touch rugby team in the coming months and hoping to give more opportunities to everyone that wants to give Touch rugby a go.

We have Norfolk Touch Development Series and the EDRS starting in October and senior Midlands Tigers Development on 20th Sept & 13th Dec at One Leisure, St Ives Outdoor, Cambs.

Come along to Holt RFC on Thursday evenings from 7pm and become part of our fast growing team of touch rugby players. It could be you representing next time 🏉🦉

Holt Rugby Club would like to express its sincere thanks to Norfolk Homes Ltd for its generous sponsorship of the club’s new stand.

The sponsorship represents an important investment in the future of the club, helping to provide an improved facility for spectators and supporters.

Club Chairman Geoff Flather said:
