Below the surface dive school We have been teaching divers for over 35 years if you’re over 6 we have a course for you. ❤️ One of the oldest schools in West Yorkshire .

We teach students from 8 years old to 80. From 'Bubble Maker' to 'Instructor' Why not take a look at our courses and contact us through facebook, the website or give us a ring, we can tailor make the course to suit your needs, we can do a short intensive weekend course or you can take more time and do it over a number of weeks! Another impressive week & a special mention for Mark who has achieved his SSI Dive guide rating , showing great skill in the water, proficiently leading & briefing the divers . Exams were passed with 100% and his water fitness left the rest of us standing , the man is a dolphin in the water 😂 Dive master is only some Pro paperwork away , so huge congratulations ❤️

A great weekend with lots of awesome achievements . On Saturday Anna completed her PADI Scuba Diver & Holly her SSI Scuba diver , Rob completed his SSI Dry suit course whilst Mark & Nick passed some more of their SSI Divemaster skills with some great briefings & good quality guiding in less than perfect conditions.
Sunday saw Anna & Holly convert those scuba diver qualifications to Open water showing great skill & determination. Maria continues to grow her skills on her SSI Assistant Instructor course regardless how how many problems Mark threw at her, playing her student 😂 most his own making 😂
The weather has improved & the club divers were out in force, which was nice to see. Well done all & thanks to the team as always for helping to keep everyone safe ❤️

What an awesome week. Callum completed his SSI snorkel diver course with Bill as part of his SSI Open water course , Zac completed his SSI open water skills with Sal , just those dives to do now . Love that float Zac ❤️ Kelly & River completed a review of their PADI scuba diver skills with Ian , with a view to going on to compete their open water , you looked to have had a great time ! Love the photo! Justin & Pam completed their SSI Try Scuba with Craig , fab diving & finally Rob completed his SSI Dry suit orientation with Bill ready for today’s open water dives . Wow ! A fab weekend at Capernwray doing the SSI wreck & advanced wreck course with Maria & Drew, sorry I didn’t get there, bigger things got in the way, to Charlie & Paul who couldn’t make it there will be another soon, but thanks to Ian, Al & Craig for all their help . Coming in August ! SSI Sidemount Course

In this sidemount diving course, you’ll learn all you need to go single or two-cylinder recreational sidemount diving up to a maximum depth of 30 meters or to your certification depth, whichever is deeper.

Sidemount diving is already common practice for wreck, mine, and cave divers, but now the benefits are being discovered by more recreational divers. With no heavy tank on your back, you’ll be more comfortable in the water and find your streamlining and trim improve effortlessly. By using less energy you may reduce your gas consumption so you can make the most of your dive time. With better buoyancy control, easier access to your valves and more redundancy as well, sidemount diving offers safety and peace of mind.

This is the best sidemount diving course to discover and enjoy the enticing advantages of this dive style. You learn all the skills and knowledge you need to safely and comfortably dive with a single or two-cylinder sidemount equipment configuration. PADI & RAID & BSAC versions also available .

What a fun & informative day at North West Emergency Recompression Unit . Thanks to all the staff for a really well presented lecture, tour & our 40m dry dive. Followed by a compulsory deco stop at the pub. We had a great day , to be recommended to all divers . Thanks to Ian for sorting it out for us all ❤️
