Below the surface dive school We have been teaching divers for over 35 years if you’re over 6 we have a course for you. ❤️ One of the oldest schools in West Yorkshire .

We teach students from 8 years old to 80. From 'Bubble Maker' to 'Instructor' Why not take a look at our courses and contact us through facebook, the website or give us a ring, we can tailor make the course to suit your needs, we can do a short intensive weekend course or you can take more time and do it over a number of weeks! If you are already convinced you can give us a ring and book a course

Well that was quite a day ! Awesome diving & congratulations to our new PADI Open Water divers, Kelly, River & Charlotte. What a blast this morning was . Also to Gabriel our new SSI Scuba diver who this afternoon went from being really pretty stressed to loving his time underwater just watching the fish who really seemed to want to come say Hi . Well done all & thank you so much to our team Ian, Al, Craig, Stuart, Mark & Nick for making it so much easier and safer ❤️

We have had a few requests to run a Roots Red Sea trip at the end of June next year (that doesn’t mean we are not planning the usual winter one) this is so the youth divers who are finishing GSEs can take advantage of the early holidays avoiding summer holiday prices. Flights at the moment 25th June are around £400 and the accommodation at Roots including all meals,soft drinks, airport transfers and all diving on the house reef is £995 based on two sharing a standard delux room . Open to all obviously and If this is of interest to more people please do let us know and we can formalise things .

Coming soon SSI Sidemount diving course, you’ll learn all you need to go single or two-cylinder recreational sidemount diving up to a maximum depth of 30 meters or to your certification depth, whichever is deeper.
Sidemount diving is already common practice for wreck and cave divers, but now the benefits are being discovered by more recreational divers. With no heavy tank on your back, you’ll be more comfortable in the water and find your streamlining and trim improve effortlessly. By using less energy you may reduce your gas consumption so you can make the most of your dive time. With better buoyancy control, easier access to your valves and more redundancy as well, sidemount diving offers safety and peace of mind.
You learn all the skills and knowledge you need to safely and comfortably dive with a single or two-cylinder sidemount equipment configuration.
RAID & PADI version available too .
Min age 12
Course includes pool session, classroom session, 3/4 open water dives. If you don’t already have your kit speak to us re kit . You can get started on your theory right now using the link below ❤️

Another great week, Elara showed amazing skill in the water on her SSI Try Scuba the third generation in her family to come to learn to dive with us !
Bill after 35 years also continues to learn & has completed his crossover to enable us to run SSI Sidemount & Decompression diving courses as well as RAID & PADI, so get you courses booked in we will be running them late September . ❤️ well done all .

The SUEX New VR Series is a line of lightweight, compact underwater scooter (DPV) models comprising three modular variants: Nemo, Quantum, and Voyager. The Three Models
Nemo: Entry-level model; built for recreational diving, snorkeling, and freediving training with a compact 300 Wh battery.

Is scuba fun? Look at these faces ❤️ Another successful weeks training , River & Kelly completed their pool work for their PADI Open Water, Freddie completed his SSI Try scuba showing great skill in the water, Ben has completed his SSI Deep specialty theory ready for Oban next week, Rob completed his SSI Snorkel course & Ian completed his SSI React Right refresher .
