Unfortunately due to injuries and family commitments we have had to join other clubs this season in cancelling our game this weekend.

This is not a decision that’s been taken lightly and appears to be part of a wider problem at the moment.

Nonetheless, we will be ready for our home game next week! Onwards!

Next up, a difficult away trip to face table toppers Thurston. Kick off time TBC

The Halstead Templars would like to introduce our primary sponsors, Hards of Halstead. Following a successful season as our man of the match sponsor, Hards have gone all in and become our headline sponsor for the next three seasons.

Providing Halstead with the finest cuts of meat and superb flavours they are THE place to go for anything butcher related. We can personally attest to the sublime sausages on offer!

If you follow the Templars, please, get down to Hards and show them the support that they’ve shown us!

A massive performance from the ever-reliable Josh Donaldson saw him earn the man of the match award today.

Playing out of position and putting is a huge defensive shift is what we have come to become accustomed to. Well played Josh

Thank you to SARK Halstead for sponsoring our man of the match award

Apologies once again for the lack of updates, our social media people were away.

It was a tough and rather spicy game with multiple yellow cards.

Templars went 3-0 up before Braintree got a converted try. 3-7 at half time.

The second half was much the same before Braintree killed the game off late with another converted try.

Final score 3-14.

We go again next week
