Frome vs Lawn in county playoffs 45-27 WIN. ✨
Frome travelled to Swindon today to play Lawns first team in the hope of progressing through to the next round and getting the opportunity to progress into the regional league.
The game started goal for goal against a talented, young Lawn side. Our Frome girls stayed composed, mature and skilful throughout which meant they were able to perform exactly how they’ve done all season.
Words from coach:
“ I can’t express how proud I am of the girls. We all bring so much diversity to the team. We’re mums, we’re teachers, we’re working professionals (and 1 student!) but at the end of the day, we all share a love for eachother and for the club and that’s what gave us our edge”.

Pictured here is the team with June Barnes who founded the club when she was 16 years old! Today, we got to come along and watch us play at 91 years young. So much respect.
