It's crunch time Hart! 🏊‍♂️💥

We are in the final, exciting push of the season, and the energy in the pool is electric. We have some huge club events locked into the calendar, and every single session is a chance to fine-tune those starts, turns, and finishes.
Here are the key dates to get in your diary:

💚 21st June: Hart SC Distance Time Trial ⏱️
💚 5th July: Hart SC End of Season Gala 🏆 (Entries close 20th June)

Our swimmers are putting in the hard yards to finish the season on an absolute high. Parents, thank you for managing the early mornings, logistics, and endless chlorine laundry as we navigate this busy block!

And just when you thought that was all, don't forget that on Saturday, 4th July, we are taking our team spirit into the streets for the Fleet Carnival. We want Hart SC to make a massive splash this year, so whether you're walking with us, helping decorate, or cheering in your club kit, let’s show the town our amazing Hart spirit before we dive straight into the pool on Sunday, 5th July for our End of Season Gala to wrap up the year in style!

A Massive THANK YOU to the Heart of Hart SC! 💚

We say it all the time, but it can never be said enough: Hart Swimming Club simply would not exist without our incredible volunteers.

From the early starts to the late-night finishes at galas and meets, there is a massive team working tirelessly behind the scenes to keep our swimmers in the water, smiling, and smashing their PBs.

Today, we want to shine a spotlight on all of you:

💚 Our Brilliant Team Managers: For your endless energy, poolside motivation, and for keeping our teams organized, focused, and fired up at every single meet.

💚 Our Dedicated Officials & Timekeepers: Spending hours on the poolside circuit, keeping concentration high so every single fraction of a second counts fairly.

💚 Our Committee Members and Administrators: Working round the clock behind the scenes to manage trials, gala entries, accounts, and welfare, ensuring the club runs like clockwork.

💚 Our Door Team, Pool Marshalls, and Parent Helpers: For being the welcoming faces at our home meets, keeping the kids safely organised, and doing the hundreds of tasks that add up to a brilliant club experience.

💚 To every single person who has given up their time this season: Thank You.
Your dedication builds the community where our swimmers learn discipline, make lifelong friendships, and chase their national dreams.
We are incredibly proud of our Hart family.

The famous Fleet sheep have officially traded their woolly coats for some Hart Swimming Club spirit! We think they look absolutely "shear-ful" helping us make a splash in the community.

A massive shoutout to the incredible Sue, who spends her own time dressing these local legends for free. She’s a total star, and we are so grateful for her support!

In honor of Sue’s hard work, we’re shining a light on her charity of choice: Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice Care. They do vital work in our community, and we’re proud to have them linked to our flock.

BIG NEWS FOR TEAM HART! 🏊‍♂️💨✨
We are absolutely thrilled to announce that three of our incredible Hart swimmers have officially qualified for the National Championships!
This is a massive achievement and a direct result of the hours of hard work, grit, and dedication they’ve poured into the pool day in and day out.
To qualify at this level takes true champion mindset, consistency, and a lot of heart (and Hart!). We couldn't be prouder of how they’ve represented the green machine.

Congratulations to all our Hart Swimming Club athletes who competed at the 2026 South East Regional Championships!

Reaching this level of competition is an incredible feat, as the event represents the elite top 0.08% of swimmers. Out of over 38,000 total swimmers, only a select few secured one of the 8,000 race entries to stand among the region's best.

We are immensely proud of our 14 swimmers who represented the club over the 8 days of competition. Your hard work and dedication truly shone on the regional stage:
💚 14 Swimmers Participating: Qualifying for the Top 32 in your age group.
💚 5 Regional Finalists: Ranking within the Top 💚 8 of all competing swimmers.
💚 11 Finals Swum: A testament to the stamina and skill of our athletes.
🏅1 Medal Winner: Bringing home silverware from one of the most competitive meets of the year!

To qualify for an event with 102 clubs represented is a victory in itself. Well done to every swimmer who donned the Hart cap and gave it their all.

We want to send a huge "Good Luck" to all of our swimmers sitting their GCSE and A-Level exams starting this week!

To help you find that balance, we’ve put together a few principles of the Student-Athlete Mindset. You already have the discipline, use it now to manage your energy, protect your sleep, and know when to prioritise your brain. 🧠💡

Use the club as your support network and your de-stress tool. Stay calm, stay focused, and remember: The whole club is cheering you on! 💚

BRONZE AT THE SOUTH EAST REGIONALS! 🥉🏊‍♂️

A massive congratulations to Zack Westhead for an incredible performance at the South East Regional Youth Championships today!

Zack took to the blocks in the Men’s 200m Breaststroke and secured a brilliant 3rd place finish.

Representing Hart is about more than just the race, it’s about the years of hard work behind it.

A word from Sean, Zack's very proud coach:
"He absolutely smashed it! An incredible swim and with his bright green racing trunks, he was flying the club colours! I’m so thrilled as I’ve worked closely with Zack for well over a decade."

It is so special to see a swimmer’s journey come full circle on the regional stage. Zack, you’ve done yourself and the club proud.
