Karate Academy Scotland Classes four nights a week in Elgin and Forres
Traditional Shotokan Karate. Sensei John Craig is a 4th Dan. Shotokan Karate is a traditional martial art.

Karate Academy Scotland is a local club with a long history in Elgin - the club started around over 25 years ago. With more than 25 years of experience, 2021 marks the 15th anniversary since he took over the running of the club. It offers everyone a path of personal growth and development. Through training, students challenge themselves both mentally and physically in an effort to master technique

and the application of those techniques. Training requires commitment to the art and to yourself. Through partner work it encourages students to work together. Over time, continued training helps students develop an inner strength of character that flows through every aspect of their life. Karate Academy Scotland follows the teachings of Sensei Kase and Sensei Shirai and is a member of both associations. We hold courses twice a year with Sensei Marc Stevens and regularly attend training courses in Europe. Karate Academy Scotland is open to people of all ages. We have students aged between 7 and 70+ training at all levels. Karate Academy Scotland's instructors are PVG checked, First Aid trained, and have Scottish Karate Board Coaching Certificates.
