So tonight we had a Special birthday present for coach Keith after completing his first grading with the club in march of 1993. Finally many years later (33 lol) he was presented with his black belt by one of his OG coaches Steven Williamson.
It was a memorable evening and thank you to all who attended.
So just shows no matter how long it takes just keep trying it will come eventually 🥋

Moray Sports Centre cheers for tonight

So drawing a close to this weekends
Judo at the Scottish open
An brilliant bronze medal performance in veterans for Kieran fantastic transition on the ground for tap
Flynn first time at this level of competition fighting an international player from Canada gave a good account of himself against 2 black belts. Been a steady rise in performance last 12 months so well done
Rylee much better at juniors up against a player from Canada too today than yesterday adaptive small margins of error between win and loss but we will build on it.
Neeson had French player today first for him and had been working with Stuart Mcwatt ITP programme coached by him this weekend and Garioch judo club
Gripping was definitely on point , Still need to bring it all together. Some hard work ahead and over the next 12 months i think we will see a new Neeson on the mat.

Great First outing of 2026 for EJC
