Established 2022 ESCT Academy sessions are held at The Gleaner Arena. Our goal is to help develop the skills and confidence of our members.

We know sport can have a huge impact on an individual’s development, and we see this as an opportunity to develop life skills in tandem with the football skills.

Congratulations to Academy Coach Murray Newlands on reaching the incredible milestone of 100 academy coaching sessions! 👏🙌

Murray joined us last year as a volunteer after being an attendee of our Active Recovery Moray Tuesday football ⚽ During this time he was studing sports and fitness and decided to come use and develop the skills he was learning through his course.

Over his time here he has shown a great passion towards not just our academy but what we do here at ESCT and other activities that we do.

Over the past 100 sessions, Murray has inspired many and been expanding his experience with different age groups.

What makes Murray stand out isn’t just the number of sessions he has delivered, but his desire to become the best coach he can be. Through helping newer volunteers to develop, his willingness to learn and ability to build strong relationships with participants make him an excellent role model and a fantastic ambassador for the Trust.

With his coaching journey continuing to progress through the Scottish FA pathway, we know this is just another milestone in what promises to be a long and successful coaching career.

A phenomenal achievement, Murray — 100 sessions down and many more to come! 👏⚽💙

Moray Girls FC U10s Recruitment

Calling all 2017 and 2018 girls in Moray

Are you looking for a fun, active, and supportive team for your daughter to learn football, make friends, and build confidence? Moray Girls FC U10s Girls Football Team is looking for new players to join our squad for the upcoming season!

⚽️ Our focus is always about having fun and developing the skills to grow in football.
⚽️ Clear and structured development pathway through our player pathway partnership with Elgin City Women FC.
⚽️ All our coaches are SFA qualified, fully PVG checked, and passionate about girls football.
⚽️ We pride ourselves on providing a safe, positive environment to build social skills and lasting friendships.
⚽️ Great way to stay fit, healthy, and energised.

⚽ Exciting News – Our Just for Girls Football Programme is Growing! 💙

We are delighted to announce the expansion of our Just for Girls Football Programme!

With girls' football continuing to grow in popularity and more young people wanting to get involved, we are launching a brand-new Phase 3 session for female players aged 12+.

📅 Every Wednesday
⏰ 6:00pm – 7:00pm
📍 The Gleaner Arena, Elgin

Thanks to the fantastic support and funding from the Barclays Access Fund, we are pleased to offer FREE places for girls aged 12 and over.

Our sessions provide a fun, welcoming and supportive environment where girls of all abilities can enjoy football. Whether you're stepping onto the pitch for the very first time or already have experience playing, our qualified coaches will help every participant build confidence, develop new skills and most importantly, have fun.

The programme is about much more than football. As well as improving technical ability, participants will develop teamwork, communication and leadership skills, make new friends and become part of a positive, inclusive community where everyone is encouraged to learn and progress at their own pace.

If you're looking for a friendly place to stay active, improve your game and meet like-minded people, we'd love to welcome you to the team.

A huge congratulations to Ellie Mitchell, our very well-deserved Coach of the Month for May 2026! 👏🙌

Ellie has unfortunately been sidelined for a lengthy spell due to injury, but rather than allowing that to keep her away from the game she loves, she has shown fantastic commitment and a brilliant attitude by stepping up to support our coaching team at the Just for Girls Football Sessions.

As a Moray Girls player herself, Ellie is a fantastic role model for the young players within the programme. She brings a positive attitude, enthusiasm and a willingness to help, while her own experiences as a player allow her to connect with and inspire the girls taking part.

Despite being unable to play herself, Ellie has continued to give back to the game and has become a huge help to our other coaches. Her willingness to get involved, support the players and contribute to the sessions has been greatly appreciated by everyone involved.

It is this type of commitment, selflessness and passion for helping others that makes Ellie such a deserving recipient of this award. We are incredibly proud to see her turning a challenging period into a positive opportunity to support the next generation of female footballers. 👏🌟
