🥊⚡ Aaman Butt Secures Second Victory for Lightning Boxing Gym! ⚡🥊

What a performance from Aaman Butt at Hampden last night as he claimed his second victory representing Lightning Boxing Gym in impressive fashion.

From the opening bell, Aaman took control of the contest, landing powerful shots and putting his opponent under pressure. He looked sharp, confident, and dangerous throughout, showing exactly why he is one of the gym’s rising stars.

The turning point came in the second round when Aaman landed a huge right hand that rocked his opponent and left a lasting impact. After taking considerable punishment, his opponent was unable to continue and retired on the stool at the end of the round, never coming out for the third. The result gave Aaman a dominant stoppage victory and his second win under the Lightning Boxing Gym banner. 👊💥

Head Coach Lee Redpath couldn’t be happier with Aaman’s progress and has made it clear that there are big plans ahead for the talented light heavyweight.

“Aaman is improving every time he steps into the ring. He’s dedicated, works hard, and has all the attributes needed to go a long way in this sport. It won’t be too long before he gets his opportunity to fight for the Light Heavyweight title.”

With performances like this, that title shot is looking closer than ever.

Congratulations, Aaman – another outstanding display and another step towards championship glory! 🏆⚡

🥊 Dylin Izatt Remains Undefeated After Hard-Fought Draw 🥊

Lightning Boxing Gym’s most experienced fighter, Dylin Izatt, could only manage a draw in his 8th contest as he continued his pursuit of an international title. Despite the result, Dylin once again showed exactly why he is regarded as one of the very best in his division.

Displaying tremendous heart, grit, and determination throughout the contest, Dylin battled through adversity from the very beginning. In the opening round, his opponent was awarded a knockdown after Dylin appeared to trip over his opponent’s foot rather than being hurt by a punch. It was a moment that proved significant on the scorecards, and without it, the outcome could well have been very different.

True champions are defined by how they respond, and Dylin did exactly that—digging deep and producing a strong performance against a tough opponent. His resilience and skill were on full display as he fought his way back and continued to showcase the qualities that have made him one of the standout fighters in the cruiserweight division.

Most importantly, Dylin remains undefeated and retains his LBP Cruiserweight Title. 🏆

After a busy spell, Dylin will now take a well-earned break before returning to action later in the year, where he will continue his quest for bigger titles and new challenges.

Congratulations, Dylin. The journey continues, and the best is still to come. ⚡🥊

From Kirsty and I.

“First loss for Daniel Lokietek tonight, stepping up to face an opponent 10kg heavier in pursuit of another title. It didn’t go our way, but champions aren’t measured by undefeated records—they’re measured by their willingness to take on challenges and how they respond to setbacks. Daniel remains champion in his division, with a title defence still to come. We’ll regroup, learn, and come back stronger. Proud of the courage he showed tonight. ⚡️🥊 ”
