This camp is open for every veteran regardless if they are competing or not at the upcoming World Championships. The camp will feature many fencers from British clubs, guests from Canada and other countries. The camp will be run by highly experienced coaches Oana Puiu (epee, GBR senior coach), and Jon Salfield (sabre, GBR senior coach).

We are looking forward to seeing everyone for the Veterans Open on Sunday 30th August at the Albert Halls in Stirling 🤺
Here are the check in times for the event ⬇

Check in Epee 08.30 – 08.45 – Fencing @ 0900
Check in Foil 9.15 - 9.30 – Fencing @ 09.45
Check In Sabre - 11.00 -11.15 Fencing @ 11.30

Access to the hall is from 8am
Format will be 2 rounds of poules and DE - no Fence off. DE seeded from both poules

Salle Ossian Fencing Club were well represented recently in York at a British Academy of Fencing coaching residential week.
Phil Carson was one of the coaches as part of the training team 🤺
John Bowman and Fiona Hetherington in passing their Level 2 Sabre qualifications and Jack Geddes achieved his level 5 coach status, becoming the youngest Master of the British Academy of Fencing
