🔥 NEW CLASS: Competition Prep Class 🔥

As competition season ramps up, we’re introducing a 12-week Competition Prep Class designed to help you perform at your best, whether you’re signed up for an event or just want to train like you are 💪

Thursdays - 7:30PM
12-Week Block Beginning Week Commencing 8th June

What to expect:
This class is all about bridging the gap between regular training and competition performance. Each session will focus on:

Competition-style workouts – Expect more strategic WODs that test pacing, transitions, and mental toughness

Skill refinement under fatigue – Practice key movements like gymnastics, Olympic lifts, and barbell cycling when it really counts

Workout strategy & pacing – Learn how to approach different event styles, manage intensity, and avoid blowing up early

Transitions & efficiency – Small details that make a big difference on the comp floor

Judging standards & movement quality – Understand what reps count and how to move efficiently under pressure

Mindset & preparation – Build confidence, composure, and a competition-ready mindset

You don’t need to be signed up for a competition to join. This class is perfect for anyone looking to level up their training, push their limits, and experience a new challenge.

🔥 4 Weeks : Prep for RAGING RAPIDS

We’re officially 4 weeks out from RAGING RAPIDS at CrossFit RTV, happening on 5 July.
If you enjoy team workouts, smart rotations and managing fatigue this one will test you.

Workout Overview
Teams of 4
Rolling 30:00 Clock

Part A – 20 Minute AMRAP
Rotate every minute:
SkiErg Cals
RowErg Cals
Lateral Burpee Box Overs
Rest
Each athlete hits every station 5 times so pacing matters early.

Rest – 2 Minutes

Part B – 8 Minute AMRAP
3 athletes working continuously on SkiErg
1 athlete rotating every 2 minutes:
Burpees Over RowErg then max RowErg calories

💡 Strategy Tips
Be sharp on transitions
You’re moving every minute. Clean handovers save valuable output.
Plan your Part B roles
Know who is strongest on the rower and who can maintain SkiErg consistency.
Footwork matters
Efficient footwork on the burpee over box and burpee over rower matters! Minimise extra steps.

We’re proud to announce that CrossFit RTV is officially hosting RAGING RAPIDS, the next GymSync competition on Sunday 5 July.

Rolling 30:00 Clock

The Workout
Part A – 0:00–20:00
20 Minute AMRAP
Rotate stations every 1:00
P1: Max Cal SkiErg
P2: Max Cal RowErg
P3: Max Lateral Burpee Box Overs @ 20”
P4: Rest
Teams rotate every minute, moving to the next station.
Each athlete completes 5 rounds at each station.

20:00–22:00 – Full Team Rest

Part B – 22:00–30:00
8 Minute AMRAP
3 athletes: SkiErg – Max Cals (continuous)
1 athlete (rotating every 2:00):
14 Burpees Over RowErg + Max RowErg Cals (remaining time)
