An absolutely incredible experience at Royal Birkdale.

Feeling incredibly fortunate to have had the opportunity to play such an iconic course, and even more fortunate to share the day with my best man, my dad and one of my groomsmen. The wives (and my fiancée) did a fantastic job caddying!

The whole experience was something else — from the incredible practice facilities and the chance to prepare for the course, to walking through a clubhouse steeped in so much history.

Knowing the Open Championship has been played here so many times, and being surrounded by the stories, photographs and memories of some of the greatest players and moments in golf, made it feel truly special.

Then to actually step out onto the course and experience Birkdale for ourselves was something I won’t forget. The condition, the layout, the atmosphere and the history of the place make it feel like so much more than just a round of golf.

To experience it with my dad, my best man and one of my groomsmen made it even more memorable. A genuinely unforgettable day and one I feel very lucky to have had ⛳️💙

Great day out at Ingrebourne Links for the East Region Pro-Am with Oli, Paul & AJ.

A real test of mentality after a horrible break on the 2nd hole led to a double bogey, but really pleased with how I responded and stayed patient for the rest of the round.

Another poor shot on the 625-yard 15th, playing straight into the wind, cost me another shot, but that’s golf.

Pleased to keep grinding and finish the round with plenty of positives.

The team finished on -14, just outside the prizes.

A few stats from my round:

🎯 100% from inside 10 feet
🌳 Played the par 5s in 1 over par 🥱
🏖️ Sand saves 2/2

Now onto a busy August, with Pro-Ams at Newmarket Links, Saffron Walden and Royal Worlington, before what will undoubtedly be a once-in-a-lifetime trip to play Royal Birkdale with my dad, best man and one of my groomsman.

Looking forward to seeing where the game goes over the next few weeks. 📈

Rusty old start to the 2026 season at Royal West Norfolk for the Norfolk, Beds & Cambs event today.

Drove the ball well and hit some lovely approach shots, but the rustiness showed short sighting myself a number of times leading to drop shots!

Statistics:
11/14 Fairways hit
13/18 Greens in regulation
34 Putts

A good test today. Looking forward to my next event in March at Royal Cromer!

Very fortunate to have been invited by Golf Breaks for an inspection trip to Aphrodite Hills Resort.

The hotel was superb and we were looked after, with some stunning views from the hotel rooms.

The practice facilities were superb including their brilliant 6 hole par 3 course, before a visit to Elea Golf Club to finish the trip.

Will 100% be visiting Aphrodite Hills again in the future 🇨🇾⛳️

An unbelievable experience at the spectacular il Aux Cerfs Golf Club Mauritius.

I was incredibly fortunate to be welcomed and looked after so well as a PGA member. The views are absolutely breathtaking, and the course design by Bernhard Langer is nothing short of world class. A truly unforgettable place and one that has to be seen to be believed.
