Day one at American Speedfest delivered some outstanding Legends Cars action, with a first outright win of the season for Peter Barrable and a double for Aaron Cooke 🏆

Masters Cup leader Barrable claimed the Heat One spoils, judging some final tour lappery perfectly to pip Oli Schlup and Chris Needham. John Mickel was just off the podium in fourth.

If Heat One was greasy, Heat Two was properly wet and Cooke produced a great drive to head home Schlup and Tyler Read. Early leader Andy Bird ended fourth, to top the Masters.

Bird was less fortunate in the very wet Rd7 Final when he crashed out of the lead after the lap six re-start. The Safety Car had been required after lap one dramas.

Cooke made his way to the front again with the omni-present Schlup runner-up once more and Marcus Pett making a welcome podium return in third.
