3 things you need to know about energy healing.

Paulina is going to be holding space for you this Sunday. If you’re interested in coming along, but not sure what to expect, this is for you...

💭 You don’t need to ‘do’ anything
Paulina will open the space and ground you with a meditation. After that, all you need to do is lie back and get comfortable. Allow yourself to receive.

👯‍♀️ Everyone will experience it differently
Energy healing is unique to you. There’s no right or wrong way to experience it. You might feel deeply relaxed or energised, you might feel a deep emotional release or complete peace. Whatever arises, try to meet it without expectation.

🤍 We’re not here to ‘fix’ you
Paulina’s role is to hold a safe and supportive space and to guide the session. You are not broken, you don’t need fixing. The intention is to help you reconnect with yourself, without the outside noise.

This is an invitation to soften your nervous system and simply be.✨

Shannon created FLOW back in February 2025.

🧡 What do you love most about your job?
Without a doubt, it’s the people. Our clients have become like family, and it’s such a privilege to see so many of you every single week. Watching people grow in confidence, build friendships and find a little more peace in themselves is something I’ll never take for granted.

🧡 Favourite class to teach
Definitely Inversion Workshops and Advanced Flow. I absolutely love helping people discover new strengths in their bodies and watching that moment when they realise they’re capable of so much more than they ever believed.

🧡 Favourite way to spend a day off
You’ll usually find me dipping my toes into a lake, wandering through the Peak District, or finding somewhere peaceful in nature to completely switch off.

🧡 One fun fact about yourself
I have a tiny mushroom wearing sunglasses and roller skates tattooed on my elbow... and it still makes me smile every time I see it. 🍄🛼😎

🧡 Three words that describe you
Chaos. Curious. Wise. (A little nod to my name, which in Irish folklore means ‘wise river.’)

Three things you need to know about ASHTANGA YOGA 👉🏼

Ashtanga is a set sequence of yoga asana (postures), breath (ujjayi breath), bandhas (body locks) and drishti (fixed gazing point). You practice the exact same sequence of poses in the same order every single session.🧘🏼‍♀️

The practice helps to build strength, flexibility, and a calm mind. With consistent, intentional, and sensible practice, many challenging postures become much more accessible.🤸🏼‍♀️

The goal of Ashtanga is to prepare the body for meditation practice. All that hard work, builds up to MEDITATION.✨

One of our lovely members, Dawna Meakin is currently completing her Yoga Teacher Training and will be qualifying this November. As part of her training, she’ll be leading a series of FREE Friday night Ashtanga sessions at the studio this September.

These 45-minute Ashtanga Foundations are perfect if you’re curious about Ashtanga or would simply like to practise and support Dawna as she builds her teaching experience.🙏🏼
