What a fantastic weekend of junior golf at Hickleton Golf Club!

Over two days of excellent competition, our juniors displayed tremendous skill, determination and sportsmanship. Division 1 competitors played 18 holes on both days from the white tees, while Division 2 played 12 holes on each day from the red tees.

Congratulations to our 2026 winners:

Division 1
🏆 Junior Champion 2026 – Joe Little (Gross 159)

🥈 Runner-up – Liam Glynn (Gross 172)

👏 Best Nett – Jacob Lang (Nett 141)

Division 2
🏆 Champion – Loic Booker (Gross 123)

A huge congratulations to Joe Little, who is crowned our 2026 Junior Champion, and to all of our prize winners for their fantastic achievements.

To every junior who took part, you should be incredibly proud. Your commitment, enthusiasm and respect for the game were a credit to yourselves and to Hickleton Golf Club.

Finally, a heartfelt thank you to all of the parents and families—especially those with our younger juniors—who gave up two full days to support their children throughout the championship. Junior golf simply wouldn't be possible without your time, encouragement and dedication, and we are incredibly grateful for everything you do.

Well done to everyone involved. The future of Hickleton Golf Club is in very safe hands.

The Annual Chip Butty Competition – Juniors vs Ladies! ⛳

Another fantastic day at Hickleton Golf Club saw our annual Juniors vs Ladies Chip Butty comp take place, and what a close contest it was!

After some great golf, the Juniors came out on top with a winning score of 274 to the Ladies' 257. Congratulations to our young champions, who certainly earned their well deserved chip butties afterwards!

A huge thank you to everyone who took part and helped make it such an enjoyable day. Events like these are what make Hickleton so special, bringing all generations of our golfing community together.

What a fantastic Lady Captain's Weekend here at Hickleton Golf Club!

It was wonderful to see such a fantastic turnout for both Saturday's Mixed Competition and Sunday's Ladies' Competition. Despite some incredibly challenging conditions,playing into the wind certainly tested everyone!,the smiles never disappeared, and the spirit of the weekend shone through.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of everyone involved, we were delighted to raise over £700 for our Lady Captain's chosen charity, Motor Neurone Disease (MND).

The weekend was rounded off perfectly with a delicious meal prepared by Steve and the catering team, providing the ideal ending to a memorable couple of days.

A huge thank you to everyone who played, supported, volunteered and helped make the weekend such a success. It's weekends like these that remind us what Hickleton Golf Club is all about, a welcoming community, great golf and creating lasting memories together.
