📢 We’re Hiring – House Manager

Wheatley Golf Club is looking for an experienced and customer-focused House Manager to lead the day-to-day operation of our Clubhouse, bar and social facilities.

This is a key full-time role (40 hours per week) responsible for delivering excellent hospitality, managing staff and rotas, overseeing bar operations and finances, and working closely with our Catering Contractor to ensure events and functions run smoothly.

We’re looking for someone organised, personable and commercially aware, with previous experience in hospitality or venue management. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and event days is essential. Experience within a golf club or members’ club environment is desirable.

⏰ Full-time – 40 hours per week (including evenings & weekends)

A huge thank you to Joy & Jessica at Pride & Joy boutique for all of your incredible help in organising and providing the fashion show in support of Fireflies Cancer Awareness & Support Charity. Your hard work, creativity and enthusiasm made the event a huge success, raising an amazing £1830!

A big thank you as well to Joy's friends, customers, wonderful models and Wheatley Golf Club ladies section for attending and supporting the event. Your energy and involvement helped make the evening truly special.

Everyone had a fantastic time, and we are so grateful for everything you all did to make it such a memorable occasion. We would highly recommend Pride & Joy Boutique to anyone - Your professionalism, warmth and stunning fashion pieces and accessories truly shine.

We are looking for reliable, punctual & friendly bar staff to join our team Wheatley Golf Club.

You will be responsible for:
· Ensuring members & visitors are provided with the highest level of customer service
· Maintaining a professional & welcoming approach at all times
· Preparing the bar for opening in the morning and closing in the evening ready for the next day
· Ensuring the bar & service areas are kept clean to the highest standards of hygiene
· Taking orders and dispensing drinks
· Working as part of a team alongside other bar & kitchen staff

Experience isn’t a requirement, although it is preferred. The correct attitude & desire to work is what we are looking for. The applicant must be age 18 plus for this position.

Working hours vary with trade, but you will need to be available to work weekdays, evenings & weekends. Typical working hours are between 11am & 10pm (occasionally as late as 1am).

Salary: meets national minimum wage/national living wage
