🔴🌑U15 girls- Girls Northwest Shield Winners🔴🌑

These young ladies played in a 2011 girls tournament and more than half of them were 2012/2013 in Derry yesterday afternoon for the first time as a mixed team 👍

They had a hard group and their first game was against an Elite Cliftonville side and despite the results the girls put in a superb performance with some excellent defending noticed by many of the teams watching with a 3-0 loss.

They also faced a very strong Donegal side-Buncrana and again another hard fought battle ending in a 3-3 draw with Beth getting the hatrick for the girls ⚽️⚽️⚽️

The girls reached the shield final against a strong Ballymoney which ended in the dreaded penalties.

Bailey was outstanding in goals , also hitting the net in her penalty but the stand out moment was when our 2013 player Cara hit the net for the reds in sudden death to see the girls lift the well deserved trophy 💪🏆
