Sports Day is nearly here!

Teams were hard at work on Thursday perfecting their tug of war techniques ahead of the big day... although we're not entirely convinced some of the "anchors" on the rope were up to the task!

Celebrating Our Volunteers During National Volunteers' Week 🏉

We would like to say a huge thank you to all the incredible volunteers at Daventry Rugby Club.

From coaching and team management to maintaining the grounds, running the clubhouse, organising events, serving refreshments, fundraising, and supporting match days, their dedication makes everything we do possible.

Their time, energy, and commitment help create a welcoming environment for players, families, supporters, and our wider community. Every hour you give helps make our club the special place it is.

A special congratulations goes to our volunteers who were recognised this year through the RFU Honda Volunteer Awards: Anna, Steve, Kevin, Jack and Helen. This recognition is thoroughly deserved and reflects the outstanding contribution each of you has made to our club.

Daventry RFC | Men's 2XV Head Coach

We're building.

The 2XV is the development engine of Daventry rugby. Where players are built. Where standards are set early. Where the next 1XV is shaped.

A 2XV player called up to the 1XV walks into the same game plan, the same calls, the same defensive system. That only works if the 2XV runs the same way the 1XV runs. The 2XV Head Coach makes that true.
