🌧️🌶️ Jalapeño Shoot – Rain? What Rain?! 🌧️🏹
What a fantastic day we had at the Jalapeño Shoot, even with the weather giving us a proper soaking! Huge thanks to all the club members who braved the rain to help set up from 09:30 – we couldn’t have done it without you. 💪
🎯 ROUND HIGHLIGHTS:
• The mighty Jalapeño 30m Frostbite gave everyone a chance to test their skills (and patience with the rain!).
• The Chilli Bite 20m and Mini Bite 10m rounds were perfect for our newer archers to enjoy a fun and relaxed shoot.
👨👩👧👦 Family Fun Continued:
• Despite the drizzle, the Have-a-Go was a big hit with family members around 12pm, with plenty of smiles all round.
• BYO picnics… 🤨 this year was more of a - snack on your food without it getting wet 😂😂
• last but not least…. The famous Welly Wangle was as competitive as ever, with some impressive (and hilarious!) throws — well done to everyone who gave it a go, this is now a club tradition for this competition and does bring the massive fun element to the end of the day ! 👢 well done to the furthest thrower and the wooden spoon winner 🤭🥇
Massive thanks to everyone who turned up, got involved, and made it such a brilliant day despite the constant rain. A true testament to the true archery spirit! ❤️🏹. Come rain or shine we always make it fun!!
