As BRISCA looks to safeguard the future of F2 racing, we're thrilled to be part of the introduction of BRISCA F2 Junior Stock Cars – creating the next generation of stars and securing the future of the sport for years to come.

The next generation of BriSCA F2 drivers is set to hit the track with the launch of the 2026 Junior F2 Stock Cars Trial Series in June which will then join us at our August Speedweekend 🤩

👦👧 Who can race?

✅ Ages 11-15
✅ Drivers must retire on the eve of their 16th birthday
✅ ORCi theory and practical competency tests required before racing

🚗 The Cars

Junior drivers will race full-size BriSCA F2 Stock Cars, built to the same technical specification as the adult formula.

🦺 Safety First

✔ ORCi DSES safety regulations apply
✔ Mandatory fire/flame-retardant undergarments (top, bottoms & socks)

⚠ 2026 Trial Format

Strictly NON-CONTACT racing
No points championship or grading list during the trial season
Race 1 grid positions drawn at random
Race 2 grid reversed
Final grid based on combined results from Races 1 & 2
Appeals and protests heard after the meeting

🎟 Licensing

Junior F2 licence: £85
Driver plus 1 accompanying adult admitted to meetings
No mechanics licences required

This exciting new initiative provides young drivers with the opportunity to gain experience in full-size F2 Stock Cars while developing racecraft, confidence and competency in a controlled environment.

What a weekend we’ve just had!

We’d like to thank everyone who joined us — drivers, spectators, sponsors and our incredibly hard-working staff — at our history-making Speedweekend. We hope you all enjoyed it as much as we did because it was right up there with the very best.

A huge thank you also goes to the YorStox team for bringing the legendary Brisca F1 Stock Cars to Ireland.
