THIS WEEK IS ON!!!!!! Yeeewwwww we have our awesome women’s crew running tomorrow (Monday) morning at the usual time of 10am and our girls group on Thursday at 4:30pm for the coolest and most fun after school club on the calendar!!! As we had to cancel our girls session on Thursday, we are giving the chance for a bit of a social surf if you have a board (we have a spare longboard foamie and a step up board you can borrow if needed). Parents are welcome to come too as this is a chance to just get in with friends in a social get together rather than a full Wahines session. If you fancy joining us - we will be in the Car Park where Surf South West at 8am ready to get straight in 🩷🩷🩷🩷 . If you’re keen - see you in the morning 🏄🏾‍♀️🏄🏾‍♀️🏄🏾‍♀️🏄🏾‍♀️🏄🏾‍♀️

Tomorrow (Thursday) Wahines session is CANCELLED!!! We will move all bookings across to next week BUT there will be the chance of a Sunday social surf for those with their own boards (& we have some spares we can bring too!) so please keep an eye on socials and if you are free - come surf with us 🩵🩷

SURF’S OUT - SKATES ON!!! This Thursday the conditions are looking pretty crazy with a windy forecast and waves 8-10ft so we have decided to swap the ocean for some skater disco fun instead and heading to for their after school session 4:30-6:30pm. You can book in on the website and if you wanna skate too - please book in with your daughter. I know I will be putting my skates on 🛼🛼🛼

We have a couple more spaces for this Mondays Women’s Surf Session so if you have been putting off joining - then don’t put it off a moment more. Come and join our fully coached session Monday 10am - 12pm. All levels welcome and all equipment is included!!!!

This month is Transgender Awareness Month and having just come back from Kendal Mountain Festival where the wonderful film “Alice” won the award for Best Creative (& moved me so much for its honesty and the risk to Alice and her friends for even making this film!), I wanted to reshare the fantastic and memorable surf session my own wonderful son ran last year thanks to who helped us support young trans & nonbinary adults connect to the ocean and each other. I will always champion the importance of access and inclusion to surfing and our ocean for underrepresented communities - it’s vital and life changing. All Photos by

The importance of role models is so real! This morning my littlest Wahine stopped and couldn’t believe that she knew some of the famous ladies on this poster!!! Yes and all the other super stars in this ad. You really are inspiring a whole generation of young Wahines (& us less young ones too!) xx so proud this is in the centre of our village
