Coaching lifters is maybe my favourite thing! I get so excited watching you guys improve and make little breakthroughs every session!

I don’t have tons of availability, but if anyone needs a bit of extra help I have a couple of PT slots going on Mondays and Fridays, plus my next couple of workshops are in the diary for 13th July and 6th August. Or you can always jump on my Impact Programming app for my online programs!

A new training block starts on Monday for both our 3 Day Weightlifting Programme and the Functional Fitness programming.

The weightlifting block will have a strength focus for the next 10 weeks - building leg strength through tempo waves.

The functional fitness programme will follow our class programming at so will progress through squats, hinges, pulling and pushing strength, with corresponding workouts and accessory drills.

Make sure you download the app and get a 7 day trial to give either program a go!

We are so excited to announce Grit & Grace is officially British Weightlifting Licensed Club. Becoming affiliated with British Weight Lifting means you have some assurances about the quality we offer our members through our strength and weightlifting coaching:

Our Weightlifting coaching is of the absolute highest standard, lead by head coach, Lottie Miles. Lottie has been coaching this sport for many years and has developed a reputation as a skilled and detailed coach. She is a successful Masters Weightlifter too, having won multiple British Masters titles, a European Bronze medal and a Silver Medal at the World Masters Weightlifting Championships.

I had a great PT session with Robbie yesterday. We sorted out a few little issues that have snuck into her technique. This was a real game changer for her clean…

The bar was contacting at mid thigh then moving away from her body. We stripped the weight off and focused on better drive through the hamstrings and glutes. This stopped her pushing onto her toes so early. The result was she could keep the bar closer and get a better vertical drive without leaning back and pushing her hips forward to create contact.

Robbie built back up through the weights and finished with two hang clean PB’s! Epic 🥳🤩
