This year at SUP Devon we have been concentrating on running the Seaful vitamin sea project in Exeter. This has given us the chance to provide young people the opportunity to try their hand at paddle boarding.

Not only have they tried something new but it has encouraged the use of our blue (and green) spaces here in the city.

As well as running Seaful Vitamin Sea project in Exeter we also run local guided SUP sessions..But on top of that we are also responsible for running Exeter's AquaPaddle. A FREE timed 5km paddle open to all self propelled watercraft. Think Parkrun for paddlers.

Setting up an account is free and easy and registering and participating is also free..

Proud to be hosting our second Exeter AquaPaddle on the 19th of July.. follow the link for details.

A free timed social paddle on Exeter's historic Shipping Canal. The course starts within the Quay Basin and heads towards the Double Locks pub where you will loop around and start your return journey back to the basin.

After the weather postponed our session we managed to get out for session 2 of this year's Seaful vitamin sea program.

After what is always a slightly chaotic first session this afternoon we slowed things down and went on a bit of a journey, taking in our surroundings, relaxing and sharing some facts about the historic shipping canal and its connection to the ocean.

The first of the Seaful Vitamin Sea sessions started on Wednesday in Exeter.

Our young people had a great time with a starting lesson then on to a short trip.

Our next session will build on their skills and learn about our local waterways.

We are proud to announce that we will be running a "pop-up" AquaPaddle event in Torbay at Abbey sands as part of the ICF World Cup event.

This will be an evening event in the Heart of the English Riviera at Torre Abbey beach.

When?

Friday the 26th of June!
5:30pm arrival for a 6:30pm start. You must have an AquaPaddle account (completely free) and register for the event. (Link below)
