Founded in 1978 as Northbrook Striders with just a dozen or so members, our membership has grown steadily over the years and now numbers over 250

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the Northbrook 10K such a fantastic community event. From the organisers who worked tirelessly behind the scenes, to our amazing marshals, volunteers, warm-up coordinators, masseuses, and talented bakers who provided the perfect sweet treat for post race– every single one of you played a part in making the day so special.

Despite the extreme heat, your dedication, energy, smiles and endless cheering never wavered. It was inspiring to see our community come together to support one another, cheer on every runner, and create such a welcoming atmosphere from start to finish.

Events like this simply wouldn’t happen without the generosity, commitment, and community spirit of so many people. Thank you for giving your time, supporting each other, and making the Northbrook 10K another memorable success.

Here’s to another fantastic year of community, teamwork, and achievement!
