Dance Teacher Required
En Pointe is looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Dance Teacher to join our team on Saturdays from September, with additional opportunities for weekday cover and weekend work throughout the year.
Essential Requirements:
* Strong experience in Ballet, Tap and Jazz
* Self-employed status
* Enhanced DBS check
* Excellent class management and communication skills
* Passion for developing dancers of all ages and abilities
Desirable Skills:
* Experience teaching Commercial, Lyrical, Musical Theatre and Pointe
* Choreography experience for competitions and theatre performances
* Knowledge of syllabus work and examination preparation
The Role:
You will be responsible for:
* Teaching syllabus classes in Ballet, Tap and Jazz
* Delivering technique-focused training classes
* Choreographing competition, show and performance routines
* Inspiring and motivating students to achieve their full potential
* Maintaining high teaching standards and supporting the positive reputation of En Pointe
