Your feet are your foundation 👣

Weakness, imbalance, or poor movement at the feet can affect everything up the chain — ankles, knees, hips, and even your back.

Move better from the ground up. Strong foundation = better movement and less pain 💪

Aging is part of life… but feeling stiff, run down, and “rusty” doesn’t have to be. 🚗💪

Your body responds to how you treat it — movement, recovery, sleep, nutrition, and stress management all matter. Small habits done consistently can make a huge difference over time.

Look after your body now, and it’ll look after you later. 🙌

This is a strong post already — I’d just tighten it slightly for flow and make it feel a bit more natural for social media:

One Arm. Seven Systems. One Incredible Design. ✨

Have you ever stopped to think about the complexity hidden beneath your skin? Every movement we make—lifting, writing, reaching, or simply waving—depends on multiple systems working together in perfect harmony.

🛡️ 1. Skin – Your first line of defence, providing protection and sensory feedback.
⚖️ 2. Subcutaneous Tissue (Fat) – Cushions, insulates, and allows smooth movement between layers.
💪 3. Muscles – The engine behind movement, creating force and control.
🔗 4. Tendons – Strong connectors that transfer force from muscle to bone.
⚡ 5. Blood Vessels & Nerves – Deliver oxygen and nutrients while carrying messages between the brain and body.
🧩 6. Ligaments – Tough bands that stabilise joints and hold bones together.
🦴 7. Bones – The framework that supports movement, strength, and structure.

When one layer becomes irritated, overloaded, injured, or restricted, the effects can travel through the whole chain.

Movement matters. Recovery matters. Looking after your body matters. 🙌

🚨 STOP BOOKING MASSAGES THAT DON'T FIX THE PROBLEM 🚨

❌ Sore shoulder
❌ Tight back
❌ Aching hip
❌ Constant headaches

If the pain keeps coming back, the problem probably isn't the muscle.

As a Sports Therapist, I don't just massage the area that hurts. I assess why it's happening and use a combination of hands-on treatment, rehabilitation, acupuncture and other therapies to help get lasting results.

can completely change the way your body moves and holds tension 🪑⚡
When we spend hours seated, the hip flexors — especially the psoas muscle — stay in a constantly shortened position. Gradually, this creates adaptive tightness, meaning the muscle begins pulling on the pelvis and lower spine even when you stand.
This can contribute to:
🔹 Anterior Pelvic Tilt
The pelvis tips forward like a spilling bucket, increasing strain through the lower back.
🔹 Lumbar Compression
Extra pressure is placed on the lumbar discs and facet joints, often leading to stiffness, aching, and reduced mobility.
🔹 Glute Inhibition
Your glutes become “switched off” from lack of use, forcing the lower back and hip flexors to work overtime.
🔹 Psoas-Related Back Pain
That deep, nagging ache in the lower back or front of the hips can often be linked to prolonged seated positioning and tension through the psoas.
The good news? Your body adapts positively too 👌
Simple movement breaks throughout the day can make a huge difference:
✔ Standing regularly
✔ Hip flexor mobility work
✔ Glute activation exercises
✔ Walking between long seated periods
✔ Core stability work
Movement is medicine — the body thrives on variation, not static positions 🔥
