Good evening.
Quick reminder that Laura, myself and the boys are away on holiday for a week and the gym is now closed until Saturday 29th August when we reopen at 7am.

Quick trip down to Paignton for the weekend to see Lau and the boys who are away on holiday for a week.
Let's be honest chips and ice creams will win the day this weekend undoubtedly, but an early morning 2 mile walk in beautiful sunshine means although a minimal effort I still turned up!

Today I didnt fancy stepping or indeed working out at all. So after 45mins of procrastination I decided to add 100 burpees to my normal 1000 cal step.
Not going to lie and say I enjoyed it but in the end I completed more than I initially was prepared to do.

So today is the day not only to just turn up but turn up and do a bit more than you originally planned. You won't enjoy it but you won't regret it. Enjoy!

You are only ever one workout away from a (ok sometimes only slightly) better mood.
Taking 30/45mins for yourself and doing something isn't selfish, its without doubt necessary!
Whether its here, another gym, outside or a sport. One thing is for sure, it may not be the answer but it definitely doesn't make it worse.
For you and you alone...just turn up!

Sunday morning treadmill shuttles with my two older lads. Wasn't how they envisaged their Sunday morning during the holidays but they turned up and got on with it!
8 x 3min shuttles. 2min recovery

They are close to beating me but I live to fight another day 🤣

A sweaty painful face of a man who possibly enjoyed England's victory by a couple more beers than he needed too 🤣 so this afternoon I miserably and slowly stepped for an hour. Wasn't pretty but I turned up! That must mean its your go tomorrow. Open from 5am. See you tomorrow no excuses!
