A tremendous effort once again from the committee, who organised a fantastic evening from start to finish. Chairman Raymond Ferguson opened the event by warmly welcoming players (past & present), partners, staff, supporters, while also taking the opportunity to personally thank each of our valued sponsors for their continued support.
Raymond also welcomed several special guests, including none other than David Jeffrey MBE, the most decorated manager in Irish League history. We were also delighted to be joined by local councillors Eva Cahoon, Trevor Wilson and Francis Burton, Madame Chair of Mid Ulster District Council. Thank you all for your company, support, and kind words throughout the evening.
A special mention must also go to The Royal Hotel and their staff for an outstanding meal and excellent setup for both the memorabilia exhibition and awards presentation. Credit as well to the many club members who worked tirelessly behind the scenes in the weeks leading up to the event.
We would also like to sincerely thank all former players and club legends who contributed old photographs, jerseys, and newspaper cuttings to our exhibition. A particular mention goes to former club stalwart Malcolm McConkey for his incredible help and contribution. It was fantastic to see so much club history preserved and enjoyed on the night, and we look forward to continuing to build on this in the future.
Both managers reflected positively on their respective seasons, thanking their players for their commitment and effort throughout the year, while also outlining exciting ambitions for the future. Both teams competed strongly for honours across the season.
First Team Manager Glenn McMenemy has enjoyed an outstanding second season at Intermediate level, guiding the side to a superb 3rd-place finish, just four points shy of automatic promotion. Glenn has reaffirmed his commitment to the club for next season, with ambitions of going even further.
The Reserve Team also enjoyed another excellent campaign, securing promotion for the second consecutive season under Stevie Archer, with the squad now preparing for life in Reserve Division 1 of the Mid Ulster League.
Both Glenn and Stephen are eager to retain their current squads while strengthening further over the summer as preparations begin for another exciting season ahead.

๐ต A Special Appreciation Award was also presented to David Jeffrey and his wife Rose, in recognition of his outstanding contribution to football both on and off the pitch, and for providing such wonderful entertainment on the night.
Finally, thank you once again to everyone who has helped and supported the club this season โ and throughout the years gone by. Itโs impossible to recognise every individual contribution, but the hard work and dedication shown both on and off the pitch never goes unnoticed.
Hereโs to a fantastic season and an even bigger one ahead.
