Tonight, our newly reformed Cei Connah Ladies begin their league campaign with an extremely tough fixture away to last season’s cup winners, Mynydd Isa Ladies Football Team.

It’s going to be a huge challenge, but nevertheless, we’re incredibly excited to finally get going! 💪

🚨 DEADLINE DAY BOMBSHELL 🚨

Cei Connah are delighted to announce the signing of Bruno Fernandes from Manchester United.

After weeks of negotiations, phone calls and several pints, the club can finally confirm that the Portuguese international has put pen to paper and will join the Cei Connah first team.

Speaking exclusively after completing the move, Fernandes said:

“Manchester United was always just a stepping stone to Division 3 in the North West of Wales. Although there is tough competition for places, I’m absolutely delighted to get going.”

The midfielder was also quick to explain his reasons for leaving Old Trafford:

“Manchester United’s ambition is next to none, and quite frankly, I’m sick of playing in a derelict building every other week that converts into a massive waterfall. I wanted a club with ambition, proper facilities and somewhere I can enjoy my football.”

Fernandes is expected to make his Cei Connah debut as soon as his international clearance, registration, work permit, medical, and ability to find Dock Road have all been completed.
